All our consultancy services are preceded by a visit to ensure that there is cohesion between your requirements and what we plan to do. You will be regularly consulted with progress to ensure that we are completing the project in line with your expectations. Here are some of the services we provide:
DIAGNOSTIC VISITS

RECRUITMENT AND APPOINTMENT
Of key staff ranging from advertising posts, drawing up of long and short lists, legal checks etc. to advice on candidates' paperwork and interviews.
APPRAISALS
360 degree appraisal of key staff with agreed targets and ongoing evaluation.
KEY STAFF COVER
Arranging cover for sabbaticals, extended sick leave and maternity leave.
STAFF DEPLOYMENT
How to get the best from your resources. Timetabling issues, deployment across schools, assessment of best use of staff, preparation of staffing needs to governors/proprietors.
STRESS MANAGEMENT
How to cope! Problem solving, buying personal time strategies to keep effective, mentoring.
MARKETING
Presenting your school in the best way, innovative ideas for marketing in line with catchment area and groups, perceptual analysis of an individual school's strengths and weaknesses.
MEDIATION
When a situation has escalated and an objective view is needed we will look at the evidence so far, interview the persons concerned and provide a report with the aim of re-establishing good working relationships.
DEVELOPMENT PLANNING
Guidance with and implementation of fully costed whole school ten year development plans linked in with clear targets.

GOVERNANCE ISSUES
JBC will work with you to make the most of governance at your school. An understanding of the role and a board's responsibilities, committee structures, individual governor responsibilities, how governors can support their schools and crucially the role of the Chairman in supporting the Head.
ONGOING CONSULTANCY CONTRACTS
Providing an agreed number of days annually to cover agreed areas for schools.
